Basic Cover
The basic package is based on Annual Fees, which determine the sums insured, limits and premiums. This package may further be tailored to meet the dentist’s specific needs by adjustments to sums insured and limits.
The basic package is made up of various covers.
- Office Contents: loss or damage to contents of the office, including theft cover for precious and semi precious metals, stock in trade and documents including x-rays.
- Business Interruption: cover for a reduction in turnover following material damage.
- Accounts Receivable: loss sustained as a result of an accident or misfortune to the insured’s business books or records.
- Public Liability: legal liability arising out of the accidental death or bodily injury to others, or damage to the property of others.
- Money: loss of money in transit to and from the bank, at the insured premises including damage to safes and tills, also included is the personal accident assault extension.
- Glass: loss or damage to fixed internal and external glass.
- Fidelity Guarantee: direct financial loss suffered as a result of fraud or dishonesty of employees.
- Employers Liability: legal liability arising out of occupational death or injury of employees.
- Goods in Transit: loss or damage to goods being transported by road, rail or air.
- Accidental Damage: accidental loss or damage to the dental chair and x-ray machine.
Optional Cover
In addition, there is the option to incorporate additional sections (including extended cover to the Office Contents section of the package) at competitive premiums.
- Fire: damage to property as a result of fire, storm, explosion and other insured events.
- Group Personal Accident: accidental death, bodily injury and disablement of employees based on fixed benefits.
- Electronic Equipment: loss or damage to electronic equipment.
- Motor: loss or damage to motor vehicles.
- Theft: loss or damage as a result of theft or any attempt thereat.
- Stated Benefits: accidental death, bodily injury and disablement of employees based on earnings.
- Business All Risks: accidental loss or damage to specified property.
